Profiles in Carl-age

My friend Harry over at Temple Library Reviews has fairly recently begun a feature that he calls Reviewer Time. As Harry describes it: “You can review a whole lot of things with intellectual value, starting from books and then moving to all other forms of fiction, comic books, movies, albums and TV shows. But I have yet to encounter an extensive review of a review blog…”.

Over the course of this feature he has interviewed some top-notch blogs, including Fantasy Book Critic and A Dribble of Ink. This weekend Harry put some questions to me and my Reviewer Time interview is now up at his site, here.

It was a great honor to be chosen, especially among such great company, and it would make me very happy indeed if you would go over to Harry’s site and check out my interview. Please comment over there as well. And while you are visiting, look around. Harry has a pretty neat site.

Thanks Harry, it was a great deal of fun and I do appreciate the honor.

  1. does this mean you are famous? huh? huh? will you still know all of us? huh? huh? *snicker* it was a really good interview!

  2. What a delight! I was going to “catch up” with you by starting with older posts and working forward, but this caught my eye and took my reading time this a.m. – the interview, too.

It was really interesting and fun. Now, back to my poking about here!

  3. Wow…that was a fabulous interview! I gushed about you over there, so I’ll refrain here. Don’t want you getting a big head or anything, you know. 😉

But I had to tell you that you are not the only dingbat out here…I originally started my blog for much the same reason. There was someone I sort of became friendly with on a scrapbooking site, and I wanted to be able to comment on her blog. Yep, I thought I had to have a blog to comment on hers, too. Not that I’ve ever regretted starting blogging, but still it’s nice to know I’m not alone.

  4. Debi: I think the bathroom incident took care of any big head worries for a long time to come! Certainly a humbling experience.

    You’re certainly not alone!

Nymeth: I hope it doesn’t scar you for life!

shoreacres: Great to have you visit, please feel free to roam. 🙂

  5. I just read your interview Carl. It’s a great interview! (and I actually mean it). I got so caught up with it that I ended up posting a very long comment there in Harry’s site, even longer that my own posts in my blog 🙂
