  1. BWAHAHAAA! That (Jack Black parody) is hilarious! Oh, thanks for sharing.

I’m going to be giggling all day.

(And thanks for posting my trailer. I’m greatly in your debt.)

  2. thanks for the plug!
.. and yes, that last picture is the garden of eden, mecca, the promised land, heaven..
whatever you want to call it.. i could live there.
    4 stories of books, wow.

  3. My dad RAVES about Card – I’ve been meaning to read something of his. This might
be a good place to start, so long as it isn’t a part of a series. Sigh. Another trip to the
    library!

  4. Angela, you need to check out the rest of that post…there are some other amazing pics there. I think I’m going to have to buy that book.

    Anne, that is wild!

The Jack Black clip is embarrasingly funny. Very juvenile I admit.

  5. Isn’t that tree amazing?! The trailer for Colleen Gleason debut is definitely compelling. I know my husband would enjoy that library book for Christmas, but he would accuse me of getting it because I wanted it. Anyone have a convincing lie? One of my favorite of Card’s is Enchantment. It’s a modern/past remake of sleeping beauty.

  6. The pictures of the books in the libraries are so wonderful I could almost smell them. I think you need it for your collection and then guess who could borrow it. I’ll pay the postage! Jack Black was humorous. He can be so irreverent. – since I revere LOTR.

  7. Sheesh. How’s you get a picture of my humble little library….hahahaha. Wouldn’t you like to wander around there?!

  8. Beautiful libraries! And the LOTR spoof can also be seen as an Easter egg on the extended edition of Fellowship of the Ring. Very funny!

  9. I didn’t know that Stefanie. Thanks. I had wondered why they did this and where it came from.

  10. I used to live two minutes walk from that tree, and used to watch children running around the tops of the stones singing. It’s a gorgeous graveyard where you wouldn’t expect one.
