May I…

…approach each and every day of my life with such unabashed joy.

O satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness,
That we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Psalm 90:14

And may I face any fear with a bold spirit of adventure.

Welcome to another week, everyone. My wish for you is that your week be filled with unexpected joys and pleasures that bring a smile to your face.

    1. No kidding! You should go to that guy’s Youtube Channel and check out some of his other stuff. Pretty amazing. They do this slingshot water slide thing that looks both dangerous and incredibly fun.

  1. Hope your week is great too,Carl. Maybe the weather will clear up a little. Still beautiful here, 79 again today. We’ve been sitting in the sun, reading for the last hour.

    1. It is actually nicer today. Still low 60’s but not the chilly breeze of yesterday. 80’s the next two days and then back down to upper 60’s, which all sounds wonderful to me. Glad you are enjoying nice weather. Love reading out in the sun.

    1. Wonderful, aren’t they? I just couldn’t resist sharing that video.

    1. I hope she does as well. And I wish you that joy as well, Deslily. šŸ™‚

  2. Joy is in short supply around here. After experiencing 80 degree days, we now have bitter temperatures and a couple inches of snow. THE WEATHER CHANNEL was here (never a Good Sign) covering our “snow event.” I’m collecting about 100 research papers from my students today so I’ll have about 30 hours of correcting ahead of me this week. And then there’s the NFL Draft. Remember when it used to be all wrapped up in one day? Now, ESPN is milking it for THREE days. On Thursday night, the Buffalo Bills will pick Number 10 in the First Round. Various “draft gurus” predict the Bills will take an offensive lineman, a cornerback, or a wide receiver. Who knows? But as a long suffering Bills fan, I’ve seen many First Round busts.

    1. Wow, that is crazy George. We had a big dip in temperatures last week, with some really cold days, but nothing approaching snow weather. I hate it when it freezes/snows after things start blooming.

Yes, the NFL draft is ridiculous. Yet another thing that is all about money. Squeezing this out into this many days just has to be all about advertising dollars.

As a guy who lives in Chiefs Nation, I can feel your pain George. I really can.

  3. Thanks for the lovely sentiments–hope you’re having a wonderful week!

The first video you shared absolutely made me smile. The second one? Oh my word! My racing heart was in my throat!!! Yikes!

  4. Love this! Those children are so incredible–what lovely, joy-filled smiles. We see so many sad stories about children in Africa. Thanks for sharing such delightful videos!
