Wonder what this is? If you’re curious, wander on over to Reading Matters to discover the mystery. It is very interesting.
On a related note, check out Colleen Gleason’s cool book trailer for her forthcoming novel, The Rest Falls Away:

From vampires to the realm of Faerie, Sci Fi Chick reviews one of Orson Scott Card’s newest books, Magic Street, here.
From fairies to elves, for those of you with a strong stomach check out this Jack Black/LOTR inspired parody. May not be work appropriate:
And to round out today’s journey, how about some Hot Library Smut?!?!
Believe me, its not what you think. But for those of you who are book lovers it may be an orgasmic experience nonetheless. Here’s a picture to tempt you:

Have a wonderful Wednesday everybody!
BWAHAHAAA! That (Jack Black parody) is hilarious! Oh, thanks for sharing.
I’m going to be giggling all day.
(And thanks for posting my trailer. I’m greatly in your debt.)
thanks for the plug!
.. and yes, that last picture is the garden of eden, mecca, the promised land, heaven..
whatever you want to call it.. i could live there.
4 stories of books, wow.
Here’s a different, but similar, kind of heaven:

What a fun-filled post! The JB clip is too funny!
My dad RAVES about Card – I’ve been meaning to read something of his. This might
be a good place to start, so long as it isn’t a part of a series. Sigh. Another trip to the
library!
That tree and the headstones are amazing.
Angela, you need to check out the rest of that post…there are some other amazing pics there. I think I’m going to have to buy that book.
Anne, that is wild!
The Jack Black clip is embarrasingly funny. Very juvenile I admit.
Courtney,
No worries.. it’s not a series.
Isn’t that tree amazing?! The trailer for Colleen Gleason debut is definitely compelling. I know my husband would enjoy that library book for Christmas, but he would accuse me of getting it because I wanted it. Anyone have a convincing lie? One of my favorite of Card’s is Enchantment. It’s a modern/past remake of sleeping beauty.
Jack Black is pretty hot as an elf!!! That was so damn funny 😉
What are books?
The pictures of the books in the libraries are so wonderful I could almost smell them. I think you need it for your collection and then guess who could borrow it. I’ll pay the postage! Jack Black was humorous. He can be so irreverent. – since I revere LOTR.
Sheesh. How’s you get a picture of my humble little library….hahahaha. Wouldn’t you like to wander around there?!
Wow! The libraries are beautifully breath taking!
Beautiful libraries! And the LOTR spoof can also be seen as an Easter egg on the extended edition of Fellowship of the Ring. Very funny!
I didn’t know that Stefanie. Thanks. I had wondered why they did this and where it came from.
btw, Carl.. my website has switched over.. so you might want to fix your link above to this:

I used to live two minutes walk from that tree, and used to watch children running around the tops of the stones singing. It’s a gorgeous graveyard where you wouldn’t expect one.
