Touch the wooden gate in the wall you never
saw before.
Say “please” before you open the latch,
go through,
walk down the path.
First off, the much talked about (by me) poem Instructions by Neil Gaiman, which I think is so perfect for this challenge, is actually posted on the Endicott Studio site here. Go read it now! It is marvelous.
Incidentally, April is National Poetry Month, so Instructions fits in quite nicely with this theme.

Secondly, we now have a Central Hub blog from which you can link to all the various participants in the Once Upon a Time Challenge and post links to your book reviews. The site is here.
For those of you who want to keep up with everyone who is participating, this should make it much easier.
And, for those of you who are doing book reviews, the bottom of the first (and only) post has a place for you to easily input your name/book you read and the link to the specific review for that book. Make sure you link directly to the review post you’ve done so that people can go straight there.
This should be a very easy thing to do, much easier than coming back here to comment in a random post, and it should be easy for everyone to enjoy all the great (or scathing) reviews of the books you’ve read. Please use it. If I have your site wrong in the blog links section, please let me know. If you are missing, please let me know.
Don’t forget to stop back here often as the bulk of the Once Upon a Time activity will continue to go on here. That site is simply a portal to the book reviews that allows you to enter your own info and makes things easier for all of us.
Happy Hump Day everyone! If you have any difficulties with the new site, please let me know!
Tune in Tomorrow for exciting Endicott Studio/Once Upon a Time challenge news!
Cool! Thanks Carl!
Awesome idea Carl! I finished my first one last night, Jack of Fables Vol 1. Have you read it yet? I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I guess I shouldn’t have been, I’m convinced Bill Willingham is brilliant.
Great idea, thanks!
And yeah, Instructions is such a great poem. That and Neil’s “Locks” are among my all-time favourite poems.
Brilliant idea Carl!
Great – I finally got around to posting about it at my blog.
That was a fabulous idea! Thanks!
Thanks for putting this together Carl. This is great! Now if I can just start reading a book from the challenge! ha,ha.
I know how you feel, Iliana! 😉
When are we going to talk about your dolls? I have checked your site everyday since this weekend and nothing about your big reunion. I am so dissappointed.
I love Gaiman’s work, but had never read any of his poetry – thanks, this is wonderful!
Work commitments are pulling me every which way at the moment Carl, so I’m not sure I’ll get to your challenge this time round. In the meantime I will enjoy reading everyone else’s posts!
I’m sorry, Equiano, but I certainly understand!
Though this looks like something fun I don’t stand a chance of participating this time. Things are in meltdown mode here and I have my hands full with the youngster and her difficulties. I’m interested in what everyone has to say about their choices though…maybe I’ll learn about a gem I can get to later.
Carl, you are so organized. What a great way to keep things centralized.
I hope I can participate, but my reading time seems to be evaporating as we speak. (As I write.)
Hope all else is well.
Thought you might like to read this, it’s about Edward Gorey.

What a beautiful poem!
Thanks for posting the link!
Great idea, Carl. Since I don’t have a blog I was wondering how to fine out how other people liked what they’re reading.
Great stuff Carl! Look forward to seeing what the Endicott Studio/One Upon a Time news is!
Jeff, Pat…and anyone else participating who may not have a blog, you’re welcome to review your books read and send them to me in a Word document and I’ll add the appropriate pix and post your review here. We are interested in your thoughts on the books you are reading.
You forgot me! 🙂 I’d like to be linked at my new reader/blog site though – http://reader.inthelouvre.org … It’s where I’ll be writing my reviews from now on. Thanks!
I will make sure and rectify that situation!!! 🙂
