It is hard to believe that it has been 5 years since this terrible, fateful day. I remember getting into my car to drive to work and turning on NPR and hearing that a plane had struck the World Trade Center. I pulled back into the driveway and ran inside and turned on the television. It was so unbelievably shocking…I left the house several times that morning only to turn around and come right back because I didn’t want to stop watching, and I didn’t want it to be real.
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don’t like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

This could not have been a more perfect weekend. I took Friday off to attend Half-Price books 20% off sale, do some much needed birthday shopping for a friend (Happy Birthday Scott!!!), and have lunch with my dear friend Pat.

As you can see I have edited this portion out of the earlier prizes post (which still exists in the post below this one). That way I have kept your comments, links etc. and new visitors can continue to join the challenge if they wish!
