Alive and kicking

Today our dog, Razz, turned 100. We were joined in celebration by the Dancing Tarts as well as the better half and little ones of Jimmy’s House. In addition my sister Abby and her husband Mike joined in the celebration. Pictures of the festivities can be seen on Knitting Cybrarian’s site here. My 12 year old daughter Tori (boy that makes me feel old) and my lovely wife Mary can be seen holding Razz in various pictures. Special thanks to Laura, Nick, and Julie for taking pics.

To complete the dog-themed afternoon we watched episodes from the Best of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog dvd. This was a fitting end to a great party……for me to poop on.

  1. Wow, Razzleflacker looks great! (Jimmy’s got such a funny sense of humor for naming him that)

  2. We had a great time. Razz has always been the perfect dog. We’ve been blessed to have him in our lives. Happy birthday, buddy dog.

  3. Razz is such a good boy, except after all his treats yesterday, he is doesn’t want to eat his regular food. He is whining for more snacks! All his friends have spoiled him.

  4. Raz looks great for his age. I remember James and I would toss a football between us and Raz would chase so much he would wear his pads off and bleed. Then he would just drop his head into his water bowl, he couldn’t lap fast enough. He’s also a romatic kisser but the breath needs a little help. I’ve kissed worse, but James has really improved his breath. Is that TMI?

  5. I was reminiscing with Julie the other day and told her about the time I first saw Raz.

His hair was really grown out and the hair on his feet was so long it looked like he had floppy socks on his feet. I laughed and laughed at him that day.

Raz is a great dog. I am not a dog lover, but I will say that Raz is the best dog I have ever known. He would be welcome at my house anytime.

Another memory of Raz: Going to James and Julie’s and they would have to let Raz outside before he could see Tommy Boy. Something very weird always exchanged between the two of them and Raz would pee all over when Tom was around. Hmmmm. . .

  6. Nothing weird about that, I feel the same way when I’m around Tom!

  7. I’ll never forget it when I met Carl for the first time and he peed down his leg…
