Just a reminder, you have until 11:59 p.m. CST to sign up to win an autographed copy of Colleen Gleason’s latest book in the Gardella Vampire Chronicles series, Rises The Night. This is an opportunity to own the book before its release date (depending on the speed of the postal service, of course)!
Simply leave the comment, “I’d like something to sink my teeth into” in the comments section here. If you already did so in yesterday’s post, you need not do it again. Good luck, everyone!

Just a reminder to those participating in the Once Upon a Time Challenge to post links to your reviews over on the review site. As of right now we have 210 book reviews posted over there, which is awesome! You are all incredible!
There are many more exciting things on the way for this last part of the Once Upon a Time Challenge: and author interview with Colleen Gleason, more book giveaways, the ongoing Neil Gaiman and Tiny Stories contests, and the chance at the Grand Prize still up for grabs. June promises to be an exciting month!
Thanks again for all who have been participating, and its not too late to join in.
Happy Wednesday, everyone!
Nothing like having a few things going at once! heh!
I, myself and trying to come up with a second 100 word tiny story… it’s no easier the second time! LOL
It is probably even harder the second time around! 😉

Oh, Carl, I was just chuckling, wondering how many of your regular readers came to your home page today and saw that book cover and wondered…what in the HELL is he up to?
Let me just say that, much as it might look like a romance novel cover, it’s really more of an action adventure story a la James Bond, or Indiana Jones–with some hanky-panky thrown in too, just like in those movies. 🙂
What? are you trying to say that my regular readers don’t know about my penchant for gay fiction? 😉
Combining that cover with my contest catchphrase conjures up the wrong kind of images for a predominately speculative fiction site, eh?
I’d like something to sink my teeth into.
I’d love to sink my teeth into Gleason’s new book! I started the first one this weekend and I’m hooked! I can’t wait to finish and get the next one! I love Victorian vampire hunters!
Just goes to show the perils of judging a book by its cover.
I’ve just been reading this, the sight of which prompted a colleague to say “Oh K, for shame!” She thought it was a trashy costume romance (not that there’s anything wrong with that, if it’s what you enjoy, but it’s not exactly my usual fare.)
I will not ask for teeth-sinking material, as I haven’t read the first one and my unread piile is about to fall over… but good luck to whoever gets it.
Oh, I’d so like something to sink my teeth into! Particularly this book, about which I’ve heard lots of praise. Count me in ! 🙂
