Due to unforseen techincal difficulties on what will be a really cool Friday Favorite, FF will be delayed. Sorry for any dismay this may cause. To entertain yourselves until the situation changes, I give you the following:
Dark Opheus posted this video showing the phenomenal guitar skills of Kaki King. You may have seen this before, but its worth watching again. And if you haven’t seen it, then wow, you need to.
Elaine over at Quixotical posted a Friday Favorite of her own, on Tuesday no less, featuring the amazing art of Todd Lockwood. Read her post and visit his site, there are some great pieces over there.
SF Signal has some exciting Star Wars news.
Lisa Snellings-Clark reveals some of her new Poppet masks that she has created. They are awesome!
Colleen Gleason is coming to a town near you….maybe. You can beg, plead, and cajole her into it here.
We have over 100 book reviews linked on the Once Upon a Time Challenge Review Site, so you have no excuse but to add a bajillion new books to your ‘to read’ piles!
And last, but not least, fantasy movie discussion continues on yesterday’s post, so feel free to add your thoughts or respond to some of the other discussions that are going on there.
Have a wonderful spring weekend everyone. Art will be on its way soon!!!
Kaki King was incredible to watch. Her hands just fly. And she’s not even looking!
I never have watched Robot Chicken but may have to check out the SW special. I also hope Colleen makes it to St Louis or KC or somewhere close to us. Very cool poppet masks. The Lockwood post was also great and I so want an art book. They even come signed and a remarqued edition is only 25 dollars more. I think I’m going to save up for that edition. In fact I get paid on Monday!
Happy Weekend trails to all!
Finally posted a review! Yay, me! (And stupidly forgot to put the title in the link! Not so yay, me.)
I’ll be back to look for the “proper” Favorite, but in the meantime, I’ll just go surf these…*clicks*
The Robot Chicken Star Wars special looks awesome! I love that show and I love Star Wars…that works for me…
The Robot Chicken clips disturb me in a very good way. I like. 😉
And Kaki King kickass!
